Available to seventh and eighth grade students. This two year program meets daily and is equivalent to the first year of Spanish given at the high school level.

Older students tutor younger ones, developing academic and social skills for everyone involved.

Students are elected to serve on the council in grades fourth through eighth. They organize fund raising and social activities for the school

Students in seventh and eighth grades attend a 3 day camp at the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station. The students experience a variety of activities related to environmental education.

This is a program organized by students from Hartford Union High School. Seventh and eighth grade students work in teams as they debate international issues from the perspective of assigned countries using the parliamentary format.
|

Older adults are paired with 1st - 4th graders to build intergenerational friendships. The group meets monthly and also takes a field trips.

Students prepare a forensics piece which they perform in three to four competitions. This is an extra curricular activity which runs from January - March. Students in 6th, 7th,and 8th grades may participate.

This is an intensive remedial reading program for first grade students. Students meet individually for daily lessons with Mrs. Pieper for 12 to 20 weeks.

Multi-aged groupings are used as all students learn about topics such the rain forest, Medieval times and inventions.
